Norsk Trefelling AS is a tree-care and forestry services company delivering arboricultural services for municipalities, developers, and private landowners. We combine solid scientific knowledge with safe, efficient field practices to help clients manage trees in urban and rural environments.
Since our start in 2020, we have grown gradually from a small two-person team to ten dedicated employees, reflecting the increasing demand for our services. Our managing director, Max Lenthall, originally from the UK, has lived in Norway for more than a decade and brings extensive international arborist experience that continues to guide our professional standards.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Consulting Arborist to join our team.
In this role, you will:

Conduct tree risk assessments, arborist reports, and site inspections for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

Provide expert recommendations on tree health, pruning, preservation, and construction-site tree protection.

Prepare detailed written reports, management plans, and client presentations.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and landscape architects to ensure best practices for tree care and safety.
What We’re Looking For

ISA Certified Arborist (or equivalent European/Nordic certification/education).

Strong knowledge of tree biology, structural assessment, and regulations.

Excellent written and spoken English; Norwegian is a plus.

Ability to work independently in the field and communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues.

A genuine passion for trees and sustainable urban forestry.
